We’re pleased to welcome A Little Faith by Northern Monk, a refreshing 4.0% Hazy Session IPA packed with juicy, fruity flavour.
If you’ve been looking for somewhere to enjoy craft beer in Crosby, here’s another reason to call into Stamps.
What Is A Little Faith?
A Little Faith comes from Northern Monk, one of the best-known names in the modern British craft beer scene.
It’s the more sessionable sibling of Northern Monk’s flagship Faith Hazy Pale Ale, taking the juicy character of the original and bringing it down to a very drinkable 4.0% ABV.
Northern Monk describes A Little Faith as a Hazy Session IPA, and that’s a pretty good indication of what to expect in the glass.
It’s modern, fruity, refreshing and easy-drinking without being short on flavour.
What Does A Little Faith Taste Like?
If you enjoy hop-forward modern pale ales and IPAs, this should be right up your street.
Expect plenty of:
- Tropical fruit
- Pineapple
- Citrus
- Soft stone-fruit flavours
- A gentle hop bitterness
- A smooth, light finish
Northern Monk describes the beer as lightly sweet and gently bitter, with a juicy hop character and soft carbonation.
At 4.0% ABV, it’s designed to deliver plenty of flavour while remaining nicely sessionable.
In other words, it’s exactly the sort of pint you can settle down with.
Who Are Northern Monk?
Northern Monk has built a strong reputation for producing modern British craft beer, particularly its hop-forward pale ales and IPAs.
Its original Faith was first brewed in 2015 and went on to become one of the brewery’s defining beers. Northern Monk later expanded the range with A Little Faith, creating a lower-strength version designed to retain Faith’s hazy, juicy character.
If you’ve already tried Faith, you’ll probably have a good idea of what Northern Monk is aiming for.
If you haven’t, A Little Faith is a very good place to start.
