Atlas Bay

Atlas Bay a new name for a young band that has been together for three years performing as Off the Grid.

The three teenagers have made a big impact in that short time.

After their performance at Folk on the Dock 16 at the Albert Dock, Janice Long said “The future of British folk music is safe…”

In 2017 they supported Sound of the Sirens as part of Leek Arts Festival, played the main stage at Middlewich Folk and Boat Festival, Chester Live and Rustic Festival. They were invited to play the Wigwam stage at CarFest North and the Viola Beach Introducing stage at RivFest17 where they were presented with a new tenor banjo by Billy Bragg, on behalf of the Rivfest organisers.

Their original music has been played on The Quiet Revolution for Moorlands Radio, BBC Introducing for Radio Mersyside and recorded three tracks for The Narrowboat Sessions.

In 2018 the lads have already been in the recording studio and with a name change to Atlas Bay they are preparing to release an EP in the summer and allow their music into the wild world of iTunes, Spotify etc
