What`s happening!! St Patricks Night has been moved to 15th March!! The Pope has moved St Patricks Night because it clashes with Holy Week. Is this the first time this millenium this has happened? I think not. It`s been moved to Saturday 15th which is great for Guiness. Any donation to the Catholic Church here?? Check out the Forum and vote on this topic.

We have now refurbished the upstairs to accommodate Fusion Foods. Danny Towell wants to promote a more `Restaurrant` feel to eating upstairs at Stamps. We hope you agree.
Bad news folks the Arts Council have after 7 years of funding refuse our grant application. This means that our longrunning poetry night has now finished. They say we did not engage with the public enough…….can you believe that!!!I have written to Tessa Jowell but…Anyway if you have the time it may help if you can protest to her as Cultural Secretary. I do not think it is worth the effort to contact the Arts Council.I am removing any reference to them from our site.
On a more positive note we raised £167 for Oxfam as part of the Oxjam Festival. We bought 6 goats and a vets kit!!
Craig, our ever so popular Asst Manager, has departed for pastures new!! We , and the customers, wish Craig good wishes in the future.
Danny Towell, renowned local chef, has now franchised out the kitchen at Stamps calling it FUSION @ STAMPSThe food is “to die for!!!!” We hope this is the start of a happy and prosperous relationship
